Round 2 Phase 4 Day 5
Today I'm doing a steak day. I went back to my physical fitness boot camp last night. 1.5 hours of crunches, squats and push ups. Of course, this morning I wake up and I'm up two pounds. Water weight? I don't know. I just get so frustrated because I haven't eaten foods not in the protocol in P3 and P4. Nothing! Everything has been homemade. I limit the use of the microwave. I exercise. Absolutely no gluten products and I still haven't introduced big quantities of carbs. So far I've been eating TBSs worth of carbs. I haven't even eaten a banana yet and I only tried the homemade ice cream that had zero added sugar. Every time I try to eat something with milk it sends my stomach into a cramping frenzy so my dairy intake has been limited to near zero. I still keep gaining weight. It's not muscle trust me. My liver is doing much better though. My thyroid isn't. I haven't taken my thyroid medications yet but I might just have to. I'm still tired, my skin is dry and my hair is falling out more than usual. I'm not going to quit the diet though. I just can't. What am I suppose to go back to? I was eating pretty well without the diet and eventually I'll have to do more rounds just to get to the weight I was at my last injection dose. Ug! I'm so angry! I'm going to go pout now. Oh yeah and get ready for 1.5 hours of non stop skating for my roller derby practice that's only going to make me gain more weight for tomorrow! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!
So sorry to hear about this. You're getting a lot of exercise - do you think that's what is actually causing the weight gain because it should be okay in P4 and you've been exercising all along?
ReplyDeleteIt's very possible. It's difficult to say. I didn't exercise as much in P2 but still kept on skating/roller derby. I know that was difficult and caused me to get hungry. I also may need to eat more vegetables and lean meat. I'm going to try to find more veggie recipes. Thank you for your support. :)
