Steak Day Summary

Today's Weight: 145.2 lbs
Light TOM (Can't it just go away!?)
Yesterday's Weight: 147.2 lbs
Difference: -2.0 lbs

Round 2 Phase 4 Day 22
LIW: 136.6 lbs

I lost 2 pounds from steak day yesterday. I had to add an apple yesterday and a few bites of peanut butter though. I ate two poached eggs in the morning also so it's not too bad. I'm just freaking out seeing the weight be so high. I was really hungry last night and ate a cup of my homemade yogurt.

Today I'm doing a modified egg day. I say modified because I start turning yellow if I only eat protein. I'm a bit jaundice today but just a tad. I ate 2 poached eggs this morning, an apple for snack, 2 poached eggs for lunch, 1 tsp of peanut butter, and planning on a couple of eggs for dinner. I don't know if I can do another steak tonight. I'm actually getting a bit overwhelmed of steak. I might stick with the eggs.

I was talking to a fellow derby girl who is now on her second round of oral homeopathic HCG. She said she's been a bit more hungry also this round and she felt weak during her first round while in roller derby. She is actually one of the founding members of our league and is totally awesome. She said she felt as derby was kicking her butt and if it hadn't been for knowing someone else who was able to live through derby AND HCG she would have quit skating. She said she felt faint at times and wobbly (given we are on skates). She said she also felt she didn't hit as hard. I don't know how hard she hit before HCG as she has always showed mercy on me on the rink and usually pushes me off the track vs. whacking the crap out of me. I find comfort just in seeing her during derby practice as being an HCG dieter is sort of lonely. I'm glad we have the blogs and that really does help. Having a live person around is great though as I know if I pass out she'll be able to tell EMS paramedics I'm on HCG. LOL. I think of these things you know.

  1. Hang in there and don't pass out, okay?!? I would love to do roller derby myself. Sounds like so much fun. I can skate but the derby sounds pretty intense.

  2. Thanks for the support. I need it! And you could do roller derby too! If you're a mom then you're a lot tougher than you think! I'm usually just trying to skate away from everyone who is trying to hit me! :)
