Pre TOM
Phase 2 Round 4ish-5ish Day 13
I've had a difficult time this round. I started falling off the diet wagon last month. December was questionable and January was all sorts of wrong. I got hungry and started slipping. I started eating a lot more carbs and just not being satisfied with the quantities of food I was eating.

I started doing roller derby again and that usually makes me go into eating binges. I get hungry... I mean really hungry, it doesn't matter what phase I'm in. My derby schedule right now is:
Practice:
Sunday: 11am to 1pm- 2 hours
Tues: 5pm-8:30pm- 3.5 hours
Thur: 5p-6:30pm- 2.0 hours
I'm not exercising at all besides practice. I'm not doing any additional roller skating practices either. I don't feel hungry during practice just the day after. I was dealing with PMS issues and that makes me want to hide in a corner with a bag of sweet potato chips...oh yeah that's exactly what I did too.
I'm trying to stay positive and really focus on the days when I am able to stick to the diet and lose some weight. Today was a happy day. Yesterday I was able to stick to 600-650 calories a day. I've NEVER been able to keep to 500 calories a day. I'd be lying to myself if I tried to write down that I have. I usually add an egg white in the morning and I still don't keep 100% carb free (I either eat a small bowl of gluten free cereal or quinoa). I would pass out in derby practice if I didn't intake some carbs, especially since melba toast is NOT a gluten free option for me. That's why I don't lose as much as others on this diet. I don't stress about that too much. As long as I lose, even if not under the ideal circumstances, I'm happy. I find that I'm not able to do the strict 500 calories, 23 days worth of shots, and no exercise. I'm still a firm believer that the best diet is the one that you can keep not the one that will make you lose the most amount of weight in the least amount of time. I have noticed that this time around I've actually gained more weight than I started with though thanks to the HCG days that I went off and ate tons of potato chips. Big no no! Pre TOM is subsiding... only full blown TOM to look forward to but it usually isn't as bad as PRE TOM.
For those of you that have had issues with regaining the weight or not keeping to the diet strictly, it's ok! Really! This is tough and not everyone is crazy enough to do it. So just the fact that you are trying says a lot about strength. I'm going to read some of your blogs tonight and catch up. I will keep writing and updating my blog daily now that it's gotten interesting. Before when I was keeping the weight off there wasn't much to say. Now I can't shut up.
