Round 2 Phase 4
Last night I had another fun filled evening at a physical fitness boot camp. We worked our abs. We did about 175-200 ab exercises with a medicine ball (including 150 crunches) so I'm not too surprised my weight is up this morning. That's why I'm not going to do a steak correction day. Though in retrospect maybe I should have done a modified steak day or an egg day. My ankles are swollen and I think I'm retaining water. I'm cramping also but I'm wondering if it's PTOM. I'm hungry. More than usual. And I'm having cravings. I'm tired and my nose is stuffed up. Yup, that sounds like pre TOM. Oh and the wonderful headache of course. I was dumb enough to eat a few spoonfuls of ice cream since my skinny butt husband sneaks it into the house. Along with cakes. I've been super good so far and not eaten ANYTHING he has brought but I wanted some ice cream and ate some. Big mistake. I still haven't assimilated my new dairy allergy into my life as well as I wanted to and I still forget what things have dairy in them. Duh?! Ice cream! Come on! That's a no brainer. So now I have TOM cramps and dairy cramps.
I was reading My Non Mainstream Weight loss and Fitness Journey on Blogger: http://hcgjournal-trudi.blogspot.com/. She seems to be having issues with her thyroid and maintaining also. She figured out she has issues with low body temperatures (Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome) and I know I always run low on my body temperatures. I took T3 supplements but not the extended release kind which is recommended. My doctors are very helpful when it comes to writing scripts but not to trouble shooting. I go in, ask for what I need, they write it out. So if I don't have a clue, they don't have a clue. I'm tempted to start taking the T3 supplements again but am unsure about it. To get a pharmacist to compound an extended release of my T3 script is expensive. I've compounded drugs before in the past at the vet clinic's office. I wonder if I can compound it myself? :)) LOL Hey, it's a thought.
Ok, no more ice cream for me. I'll try to get my husband to take some pictures so I can show you all what I have to show for all this work. But really I don't think you can tell a huge amount. I don't post the pictures or too much personal information due to employers. It's a condition of employment to provide them all your emails/blogs/personal web pages. I don't feel like having a future employer like a police department (I'm applying for police jobs) reading about my menstrual cycles or seeing pictures of me. With that said, I'll probably just disable the blog when they are doing background checks. If I remember right they asked what your current blog pages not past ones. ;)
You must have rock solid abs with all those crunches. I admire your endurance.
ReplyDeleteDamn the icecream!! All those Dairy Queen commercials on TV are killing me.
My abs hurt just thinking about all those crunches!
ReplyDeleteDang the dairy allergy. My downfall is carbs and the PMS like bloat from indulging in them. It took me a few tries to learn the lesson of avoiding them.
It seems unfair about the providing future employers all your emails/blogs/personal web pages, there must be a way to get around it. An alias for the internet?
Kathryn: Yes, what is it with Dairy Queen?! WHHYYY does it have to be their 25 year Blizzard anniversary! Ge'ez! :))
ReplyDeleteAutumm Rose: Your right, there should be a way around it but the polygraph test is a killer for me. Since they will ask you if you've provided all the information asked and they word the questions in such a way that they cover aliases. They do the same with your medical files. Your medical information is private... oh yeah... until it's a condition of employment to release it all to them. Sucks!
