1800 Calories and Derby

Today's Weight: 136.4
Yesterday's Weight: 136.8

Phase 4

Though I wouldn't recommend straying from Dr. S's original advise I have to admit that doing the HCG on for a week (about 5-7 days) and off for a week has been working well for me. I've actually been able to maintain my weight and I'm not starving. I have a hunch that the amount of calories I burn and the thyroid issues I'm dealing with have a lot to do with it. So I'm glad I kept with it regardless, even if it is a bit modified.

Here is a more updated picture of me. I'm the one in the middle.

I did a derby boot camp this weekend and I stayed close to a Whole Foods Market. I ate more carbs than usual. They were all pretty good carbs though. Quinoa, carrots, and polenta. I wondered about how many calories I'd burn in a day of derby. First of all, 6 hours of non-stop rollerskating is my limit. I couldn't do the 10 hours a day (9a- appx 7pm). Sunday I was able to stand another 6-7 hours. I was with a skater that wore a calorie tracker... I can't remember what their called right now. She did the same amount of skating as I did and she burned about 1800 calories in 6 hours.

My ideal weight is 125-130. I still have some HCG left and debating on picking up another 5 days and seeing how far I get. I'm not sure right now. I'm still enjoying maintaining.

So for everyone out there who is having a difficult time with the diet restrictions or with maintaining the weight loss just hang in there. Don't give up. Your body needs time to adapt to the stress. Even though you lose the weight in days and weeks it takes your body months to years to adapt.
