Last night I had a bowl of gluten free corn flakes with a banana at around 11pm. I came back from a roller derby match and was so hungry. I didn't play, I just watched but I was still so hungry. I've continued to be hungry. I couple of days ago I had a pickle even though Dr. S says no pickled foods. Again, I've just been hungry so it's been difficult to not eat something I shouldn't or eat a little extra. My goal was 125 for this round, then I made it 130, then 135. Ug. Tough. I stuck to the diet today though the cereal has made me crave more naughty foods. I'm actually not sure I have the resolve to finish this round! Eeek! There! I said it! It was difficult to admit to myself but I've admitted it! I'm still going to take it one day at a time. My husband encourages me NOT to finish the round. Everyone in my family hates my diet. So it's even more difficult to stick with it. I think they just see how hungry, obsessed and miserable I am. Though I keep reminding myself that when I'm not on the HCG diet I'm hungry, obsessed and miserable. Hahaha! No, not really. I'm usually always hungry. Roller derby girls are all about eating too. Weight is an advantage as long as you can move it around. So that doesn't help either. The draw back is that with my thyroid issues I know that I will gain a lot of weight very quickly if I exercise even if I maintain a gluten free diet (with homemade food). I was hoping my thyroid would be shocked into submission and finally start working correctly if I lost and maintained a significant amount of weight.
I'm still a strong advocate of the HCG diet, don't get me wrong. I admire all of ya'll out there that have successfully lost and maintained! My hat off to ya'll.
I fret though every day. All I want is the day to be over so that I won't be hungry any more. Of course the sleeping pills really help with that since I know once I take the pills to go to sleep it will cease all my cravings, as long as I don't get that sleep eating thing going! I've been pretty good so far. One week down. One day at a time.
