High Fat Day
* Still getting info
I found a lot of the information on the Miracle Skinny Drops website and info through fellow blogger. ;)
Since you shouldn't do consecutive steak days (or correction days) you should be able to lay out a plan to get down to your LIW by alternating alternative correction days.
Monday- Steak Day
Tuesday- Eat P3 foods but stay within your BMR calorie range
Wed- Apple/Cheese Day
Thursday- Eat P3 foods but eat more then your BMR
Friday- Egg Day
And so on...
I am going to try this. I have a sneaking suspicion I've figured out a potential cause for my inability to stay within the 2 pounds of my LIW. I don't even want to say it (write it). Nut intolerance. Eek! I love nuts! Almond flour is the only flour I use now that I'm gluten free. I plan to test it once I get within my LIW (my true LIW) and then I plan to have a nut day. The inflammation in my gut should lead to significant water retention and OBVIOUS weight gain. So far I've done an apple/cheese day, then ate at my suggested calorie intake for my weight (appx 1900 calories), and today I'm doing egg day. NO NUTS.
Thanks for this post - I really appreciate it. I'm going to share this info on my website!
ReplyDeleteThis is great info - all in one place. Thanks for doing the research. I'm sure it will be really helpful to lots. You should put a sidebar link to this on your blog for easy access. Thanks again and congrats on the loss.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you all find it useful!
ReplyDeletePlease share share share the info! I'll update the high fat day and shake days as soon as I can.
-Kathryn, is putting a "label" on it enough to be a sidebar link or do I have to do something special (gadget stuff)? I'm still learning the blogger stuff.
You rock!

Meli if you are sensitive to almond flour then I love the sweet sorghum flour mixed with brown rice flour and tapioca starch...the sorghum has a nice texture and flavor. If you add "garfava" to the mix you get your "beans and rice = a complete protein". Just in case you haven't tried them yet. P4 stuff I know.
ReplyDeletethanks for the info - how did it work for you?
ReplyDeleteI did a protein day and gained and eighth of a pound...what should I do?
ReplyDeleteI apologize for not answering earlier, anonymous I hope you were able to correct the eighth of a pound you gained on a protein day. Did you drink enough water through out the day? Did you have anything different? What protein did you use? How did you cook it?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh: THANK YOU!! I have heard you could do this but I've been afraid to try it. Somehow seeing an outline of what to do each day gave me the push I needed, and I did a salmon day followed by a day of clean eating, then yesterday tried out a nut day. That was a LOT of nuts and I was really uneasy with it, but i I did it! Ate 2450 worth of raw nuts! I got up this morning to another 2.2lb loss!! That's 5.5lbs in 3 days! I'm trying another clean eating day today and plan to have a chicken day tomorrow (I bought a roasted chicken yesterday). I've been fighting this weight I've gained back (I hit my peak this week putting me at 15lbs over LIW) and after panicing I'm finally starting to feel like I'm back in control and CAN do this. I want to get back to my LIW and stabalize there before I do another round, and you've given me the boost to do so! THANK YOU! (and sorry this is so long, haha)
