Just wanted to put in my weight before I forgot it. I won't do a steak day today but I'm going to be extra careful not almond butter and to eat enough protein. I still have a bad habit of getting hungry at 10 pm even though I eat enough for dinner. Yesterday I ate a salad with 2 tenderloins (chicken) and a small portion of steak around 6pm. By 10 I had to have an apple. But at least I didn't smoother it in almond butter. For breakfast I'm going to have an omelet. For lunch I'm planning a spinach and shrimp soup (all concoctions of my own) and kabobs for dinner. I've kept to apples and oranges for snacks. I know they are a little bit higher on the glycemic index scale but I'm not typically fond of many fruits.

I don't know if anyone out there knows the answer but what's the deal with turkey? Can we use it in Phase 3. I know Dr. S didn't recommend turkey in Phase 2 and didn't give too much of an explanation why. So trusting in his wisdom of higher dieting power I haven't eaten turkey. But yesterday at Cosco I found some turkey patties with no additives with 32 grams of protein per patty. But is turkey a forever no no?!

  1. I have never heard that it is a forever no-no - just not in P2. Try a small bit of it and see how your body does with it.
